Sherman's Cartoon Analysis
The Cartoon that I choose from, "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian", is when Arnold made the statement about the rock and the wood. I choose this picture because it was showing Arnold that he was one of the smartest kids in the school and how Gordy had his back in science. Gordy was his potential first friend at Reardan High.

That was one of the great parts of the book, when he raised his hand and showed the world how smart he really was. He might have made an enemy out of the teacher, but he did gain a friend. Great pick.
